Voici comment l’année a commencé pour moi :
This is how my year started :

I went thrift shopping in the Mile-End with Angelina and Caroline. The boutiques were quite expensive, so we only window shopped. The day ended at Chez Boris to eat doughnuts and chat and defrost a bit.

Angelina is a new friend of ours; we met via her sister who is also our friend. She is a really good photographer and has both a really cool tumblr and instagram.

My cousin, my mom and I went running errands. My cousin loved to go fast in the trolley and to try every food tasting at Costco.

I babysat the kids, the cats and the dog. We became “buns” sisters and I was the worst at Star Wars Lego. We also listened to A LOT of Justin Bieber and argue about the best member of One Direction.

Mid-year exam week. Lots of stress and studying but it was worth it because I feel the grades are going to be good. Maude and Gaby are some of my new friends at my new school. Even if it’s been 5 months, I have difficulty calling it my school. I definitely don’t feel “at home” like I used to, but I love the friend I have made.

Reunion time! We celebrated Caro’s 17 birthday and went again to Montreal for another adventure. We watched Brooklyn (TEAM TONY 4 LIFE!) and ate at Olive et Café noir on Beaubien. For desert, we ate doughnut (never enough) at Trou de Beigne and I gave Caro her gift. Our recommendation: the bacon one was weird, marshallow very good and we would try cookie dough next time.

I got her this necklace in New York, which is the coolest thing I did this month but the pictures are for another time.

Craft night at Larissa’s. We made mash up portraits of our friends and it turned out horrible.

I hope your year started well and if not, you have February to make it nice again.
